Thank You for your AMAZING Support! First, I need to thank our customers who have been extraordinarily patient with us as we work to manage production during a global pandemic. Like most companies, NCD has been greatly affected, and it has slowed our production considerably. We have experienced the full gamut of problems from supply chain delays, shipping lags, and staffing problems like most businesses have had to endure. Covid-19 has affected our company in more ways than I ever thought possible, and it has posed some serious challenges for us. Most importantly, our entire staff remains healthy. Unfortunately, our high-risk staff had to be placed on leave out of precaution. Major Factory Floor Expansion There is never a good time for a global pandemic, but the timing for us could not have been any worse. We just opened a major expansion to our production facility and we are currently moving inside our building to make use of the new space. At the same time, we have been working on filling orders while also working with less than half of our original staff. To help facilitate faster order processing time, we have recently purchased new pick and place assembly equipment due to come online early next month. We have taken delivery of our new high-speed machines which will make it possible for us to manufacture thousands of boards per day. Order Delays Expected Between May 4th to May 15th Please expect delays between May 4th and May 15th. Our pick and place department will be working with Juki installers to upgrade our pick and place machines, stencil printing equipment, as well as a new selective soldering machine, high power air compressor, and a new Nitrogen Generator. We will have limited use of our pick and place production floor during the upgrade process, this will cause some order delays during this time. Thank you again for your amazing support! Ryan Sheldon, ceo We just added a much-needed 4,000 square feet of floor space, we are moving most of our production from the old building (in the distance) to the new building. Beyond the double doors (right) is our new solder room complete with fluxing station, two wave solder machines, our new selective solder machine, and our ultrasonic cleaner.

Shown above, and early version of our Cellular Gateway Prototype for Use with Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Losant, and MQTT. The new version uses a MediaTek processor from our partners at Onion.io Cellular Gateways Coming Soon If you are a user of NCD Long Range IoT Wireless Sensors, you will be pleased to know that we have been actively developing a universal cellular gateway powered by NodeRED that works with all cloud platforms. We now have stable firmware working with Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Losant, and MQTT. We are currently finalizing the hardware and preparing for production. Cellular gateways offer access to NCD IoT Sensors from just about anywhere a cellular signal is available. A multi-network SIM card will be included to help get you started. NCD Cellular Gateways are configured using integrated web pages over a WiFi connection. WiFi web pages are only available during the configuration process to prevent unsecure access. With integrated support for TLS, NCD Cellular Gateways maintain our long-term strategy to ensure all IoT devices are properly secured. Firmware upgrades are also on the way for all gateways (both WiFi and Cellular), allowing support for Publishing and Subscribing to a byte array. This will effectively add compatibility with all NCD endNode products using any WiFi or Cellular gateways. NCD Cellular Gateways are based on the U-Blox cellular communications module, which adds best-in-class compatibility and support for encrypted cellular communications. We are now targeting the first quarter of 2021 for a product release.

New Wireless Sensors for IoT As many of you know, we have expanded our product line to include new wireless sensors geared toward IoT monitoring applications. NCD has been working hard to continue the release of new product that exercises our new low-power wireless framework. This framework allows us to design and build just about any kind of sensor you can imagine. What you see on the NCD sight is a nice mix of our own creation and customer requests. Our new line of Enterprise Solutions contains our latest work, built on our framework of long-range low-power data transmission. If you are looking for any kind of wireless sensor, simply let us know, we can probably build it for you! Production is in Full Swing! If you’ve been following the notices on your site, you probably noticed that we have a notice that indicates we are experiencing heavy order volumes. The last few months have set records for our company, and we are working to expand to meet demand as quickly as possible. We have had more new customers this year than we had anticipated. In addition, some of our established customers have placed enormous orders with us, placing a great deal of demand on our production capabilities. We are working on order fulfillment problems in many ways, including bringing new machines on-line, hiring additional workers, and extending work hours. We thank all of you for your support as we continue our expansion. While this is a good problem, it comes with many challenges. ISO9001:2015 Certification Underway! NCD is currently in a tremendous transition phase. We are changing our product line, we are building a new QMS to improve product quality and tractability, and we are well underway with our ISO9001 certification, which we hope to have finalized this fall.
